Nelo Mascot Drawing Contest
The design competition aims to update the classic image of the Nelo mascot to be used as a marketing and awareness element in support of the Fight Against Child Cancer in partnership with the Portuguese League against Cancer.
It can also be used as an element of communication and marketing for other purposes.
So, let’s check the rules for participating in the contest.
– The main rule: release creativity;
– The contest is open to anyone interested, professional or amateur, with no cost of participation;
– Open to any style of drawing or artistic deepening;
The design must be original and must not contain any intellectual property of any third party;
– Must not contain racist or xenophobic, homofobic (or anti LGBT), pornographic or incitement to violence symbols;
– The dimensions for sending the drawings must be 1200px wide by 1200px high;
– The format for sending the illustrations must be in PDF or JPG;
– Drawings must be sent to the email nelodrawings@nelo.eu until the date stipulated by this regulation, together with the author’s name, age, country and social networks (optional);
– Drawings must be sent by email by February 1.
– The winner will be announced until February 15th;
– Drawings received in an inappropriate format or file (different from what is announced for in the regulation) may not be qualified;
– Each participant can send as many drawings as he wants, however, each drawing must be sent only once;
– Drawings with modifications, however minor or major, will be considered as duplication and only the original will be kept in the vote;
– All drawings that meet the criteria of the regulation will be published on the social networks Nelo Kayaks;
– The participation of people involved in the organization of the event is forbidden;
– When sending the drawing, the author authorizes the use of this material for all purposes that Nelo Kayaks considers appropriate to use;
– Nelo Kayaks will award the winning author with 750 euros, the remaining four finalists will receive 200 euros vouchers to be used at Paddle Lab.
EVALUATION
All works received will be published simultaneously on Nelo Kayaks Instagram from February 3th. On February 10, the five designs that meet the highest number of Likes will be selected, which will subsequently be evaluated by a Nelo Kayaks jury composed for this purpose.
The winner will be the one who has the greatest agreement from the jury.
