フォスドイグアス 世界ジュニア＆Ｕ２３ カヌースラローム
イタイプ運河を利用した選手権は３６か国から３８０選手が３５０以上のボートを持参しやってきました。
ブラジルで行われるオリンピックの前哨戦ともいえるレースは地元では盛り上がっています。
先日から行われている（日本では夜中）ライブストリーミングのライブ中継は絶叫の連発でした。
ブラジルのアナスタリア選手はオーストラリアでの２０１４年世界選手権でＫ１女子でゴールド。彼女は２０１５年の金のジェシカフォックスと一緒にＵ２３のカテゴリーに初出場することができると語る。

イタイプ運河の技術的な改善によって、ファストトラックは２００７年の世界戦以来多くの変更をしたのです。
水量の変更などやデザインについて多くの国のコーチなどからの賞賛を受けるほどになったと強調しています。
組織自体も世界的なオリンピックに匹敵する基準に達しているとも。
イベントはスポーツ省とナショナル銀行（開発国立銀行）、そしてイタイプが主催。ＩＣＦInternational Canoe Federationとブラジルカヌー連盟Brazilian Canoe Confederationと Paranaense Canoe Federationのパートナーシップで運営されています。
